Pousada Vila Verde

I stayed at a place that feels like a hotel, perfect for a return visit, absolutely gorgeous! The beach access, comfort, friendly staff, 24‑hour reception, excellent coffee, a bakery right in front, a restaurant on the side, all the facilities. Spotlessly clean and meticulous, with an outdoor area that has tables and a barbecue, plus a microwave and electric kettle for guests. The architecture is stunning, full of details reminiscent of big hotel chains, with door protection/curtains, the handle only opens from the outside with a key (security), gas‑heated shower, balcony with chairs, a super stocked minibar. The air conditioning and TV are great, the access staircase is wide and gentle. Free chairs and umbrellas for guests. The pool, a game room with many options far from the rooms, open 24 hours. The only thing that bothered me was the acoustics; all external noise is easily heard in the rooms. I think it could be fixed by lining the doors with acoustic insulation.

The place is perfect, the view is beautiful, the location is very good, and the reception team is very friendly. The breakfast could be improved.

The breakfast view was nice. It needs a renovation; the bathrooms have mold on the floor, cabinets smell bad, etc.
