“Great place for fun, beauty, authenticity, outdoor splendor,”
The hotel sits right beside a stunning river, perfect for rafting, and is close to the old bridge, market, and restaurants. Walking from the hotel to the Plaka bridge and back along the wooded, fairy‑tale trail (A1) offers amazing views. Wi‑Fi is great, the family owners are friendly and helpful, and the beds are comfortable with clean linens. The breakfast veranda on June mornings is beautiful, with plenty of flowers and a varied spread. Rafting was thrilling, class 3 with a skilled guide and staff. The area is full of birds and sights; bring a paper map or download one for the winding roads to nearby villages. There’s no ATM in town, but cash is handy, though credit cards and phone payments work everywhere. The hotel isn’t boutique—it’s traditional, full of character, and a fun adventure in Greece’s mountains.
