We got to stay overnight in the actual ancient town and the view was amazing. It was hard to find the hotel, and a steep, slippery walk led up to it. Our room was right next to the path that hikers use to reach the upper town, so privacy was limited. We also ran out of hot water for the shower.

Absolute dream! This place doesn’t disappoint in any way and has literally the best terrace to view the sunrise and the whole of Monemvasia. We will come back!

The view from Upper Town was the main reason for my trip, so the location was perfect, especially the access right near the Upper Town entrance. We didn't focus on shopping or strolling, but the area might be a bit far from the nightlife—though that wasn't a problem.

The place was the most magical spot I’ve ever stayed in, especially being in the highest building overlooking the castle. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully designed.
