The mother and boss are very nice and friendly, the place is clean and comfortable, and it’s easy to reach the sunset point and the bus station.

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. There are plenty of chill spots, the people are relaxed and friendly, and the hot shower is amazing. Nothing to complain about.

I think this is probably the cheapest option in Göreme if you skip the dorms. The rooms are private and, while not immaculate, they’re clean enough for a stay. The bathroom is split into toilet and shower, so you won’t get soaked after a shower, and there’s a hair dryer. However, there are no shampoo or toothbrushes, so bring your own. I asked the owner to arrange a shuttle to the airport for €10 in advance, which is cheaper than the €15 I was quoted at other hotels. He also seems willing to help with other activity bookings. The only downside is that hallway chatter can be quite loud.
