The location is excellent for getting in and out of Santa Cruz, the room was clean and spacious, but the window can’t open fully, which would stop me from returning; fresh air is impossible. We dined at the hotel restaurant and left dissatisfied with the service: the food was spectacular, yet we waited about half an hour for the first and second courses, and when we were eating the second courses, they came to ask us for desserts because the kitchen was closing. On top of that, when we wanted coffee, they told us the coffee machine was already shut down. A restaurant of this class can’t afford such service mistakes.

The hotel is very family‑friendly, close to everything in town, and the breakfast was amazing, but the family suite felt more like three separate rooms, which made handling small kids a bit tough, though it could be managed.
