Location, view, staff, and the apartment were all excellent. Nothing to add.

The staff were genuinely welcoming, the food and breakfast were excellent and seemed made just for us, the sauna was spotless, and we even got to swim in the ice water.

We stayed in a simple cabin right on the water with a balcony overlooking it, which was perfect for exploring the unique area of North Norway; our snowshoe and motor sled trips to ice fishing were unforgettable, and the Arctic Camp team supplied us with snowshoes and skis. The chef, Kolbjorn Kristoffersen, cooked an outstanding fish‑crab menu for us. We were there for five days in March2026 and really enjoyed our time. The only downside was that the three bedrooms with six beds were very small, and the loft rooms were also low; we were just two people so it was fine, but it would feel tight for six people.

We were happy to discover that breakfast wasn't included, which meant we could enjoy a leisurely morning without any pressure. However, we were a bit miffed that the accommodation wasn't set up for six people - there weren't enough chairs, the bathroom was a bit cramped, and there was no soap in the shower. We also wished there was a way to lock the veranda door and some extra lighting in the bedrooms.
