Situated 12 km from Nikola Tesla Airport, it’s close to an ice‑skating rink and boating activities.

The vibe was great, the staff were welcoming and caring, and there are activities to meet people. However, there can be a line for the toilets and the shower.

The staff were friendly. I had to wait a long time and return later after arriving very early in the morning, even though the reception was open 24 hrs. They also didn’t have a bed for me the first night (there was a reservation issue), so I had to leave for another hostel, though they were still very kind in finding me a place even though all the hostels were full. They also gave me a discount afterward because that first night was much more expensive.

From the instant I stepped in, I felt welcomed like family, thanks to the staff who were kind, caring, helpful and genuinely interested in making everyone’s time great. The hostel’s activities—game nights, pub crawls, karaoke—were fantastic, giving me countless chances to meet people and create unforgettable memories. The atmosphere was fun, and the guests were some of the friendliest, funniest folks you can meet while traveling solo. I arrived with no acquaintances and left with friends I won’t forget. The Serbian dinner was a highlight, absolutely delicious, and sharing local food made the experience even more special. Balkan Soul Hostel isn’t just a place to sleep; it’s an experience in itself, filled with people, atmosphere, activities, and laughter that felt special. Leaving was hard because I had such an amazing time. If you’re heading to Belgrade and want to meet wonderful people, enjoy Serbian hospitality, and feel at home even when far away, this hostel is the place to be. I’ll return in a heartbeat. Thank you to the staff and everyone I met for making my time in Belgrade unforgettable—you’re the best!
