La Diosa Kali Beach Front Hotel in Holbox Island offers beachfront rooms with air conditioning and complimentary WiFi. The hotel is located 60 meters from the beach and a few meters from top local bars and restaurants. Bike rentals are available upon request. Breakfast options include a menu selection, coffee, tea, and juice. Cancún International Airport is a two-hour drive away.

The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, and the hotel sits close to Holbox’s center. However, our room was positioned at the back of the internal garden, just below a staircase, so we could hear people walking up and down the stairs and the AC units outside our window made noise. There was no wardrobe in the room, so we had nowhere to hang clothes. The hotel’s listing shows beach photos and calls the property “beachfront,” but in reality neither the beach nor the sea is visible because other buildings block the view, which feels misleading.

The location, facilities, and staff were all excellent, so I’ll definitely come back. The only downside was the mosquitoes, which are present throughout the island.

The location was very good, almost directly in front of the beach. The room was small, the bed was a double, and the hotel does not have a pool.
