It’s quiet, perfect for resting and exploring Medellín. The sixth floor is nice, with a jacuzzi and lounge chairs. I didn’t like the location; walking around the hotel isn’t very pleasant. They could have considered that many guests were heading to the Medellín marathon and arranged something to celebrate it.

The hotel offers good value for money and could be a solid choice under normal circumstances. The staff were attentive, polite, and very helpful, clearly conveying the hotel’s vibe. We appreciated that they understood our situation and refunded the nights we didn’t use, acknowledging that a group of almost 30 tourists had created an exceptional situation. We did encounter some issues with bathroom and sheet cleanliness, a long wait for breakfast, and most notably the noise at night: the group shouted and talked loudly, which could be heard from our room and made it hard to sleep. The staff seemed to lack sufficient control to prevent this from affecting other guests. We had booked several nights but ended up staying only one and switched hotels. I don’t give a lower rating because I think it was an exceptional situation and without that group we probably would have had a much better experience.
