There are three rooms, and the entrance was on the side wall (back side!?). The hallway had many shoes, and there were no bedside tables, chairs, or armchairs—just a bed and a TV. The bed was bad. At 18:00 you could enter, which is very late.

The bathroom didn’t match the photo in the description and was not really appealing. The rooms are extremely noisy. If someone talks in the hallway or a side room, you feel like they’re in the adjacent room. When the neighbor flips the light switch, you can hear it. I didn’t feel comfortable and could barely sleep.

When I arrived to check in on Saturday 27/6 2026 around 14:30, nobody was there. The listing said check‑in starts at 15:00, so I left. I knocked on the door and on the windows of the rented room below, but no one answered. I walked around the house and knocked on the second floor, only to be met by the landlord’s wife. She was angry and unhelpful, refused responsibility, and told me that her husband ran the place, giving me his number. After a few attempts I reached him; he admitted he’d forgotten, hadn’t cleaned or prepared the room, and could only come after work at 17:00 to clean. I told him this was a breach of agreement and would cause me trouble, asking him to fix it, but he claimed he couldn’t do it before 17:00, meaning I’d have to wait two extra hours beyond the agreed time. When I pointed out that this was a breach and I had no time, he still showed no willingness to ready the room on time. Today is Tuesday 30/6, and he still hasn’t refunded the money I paid. By the way, the place isn’t in Lillestrøm as listed, but in Strømmen municipality.

The owner is polite and friendly. There’s a lovely small terrace beside the house. The house feels warm.

Simple. Good bed. Access to a fridge. There was no toilet paper! I reminded the host, he said he’d get it, but never did.
