The location was great, but our mattresses were sagging and caused back pain, and the heater made a whistling noise. Our friends also had a bad night’s sleep.

The spot is the perfect pit‑stop for travelers heading to or from Spain, and everything else was fine.

We were back for the third time at the mill; the first two nights we had spacious rooms, but this time the room was tiny with almost no storage. In the evening the path to the room had no lighting, even though the ground was uneven. The bed was comfortable, though 1.40 m wide was a bit tight for two, but the duvet was warm. The bathroom was roomy and nicely designed compared to the room. Breakfast was served in a very nice private dining room, but it was underwhelming: the coffee came from a thermos, each person got one yogurt (which was homemade), a croissant, some baguette, and cereal flakes. Butter and one kind of jam were available. Fresh fruit, more cereals and extra yogurt would have been nice, as is now common even in simple chain hotels. The outdoor path to the rooms was unlit and the breakfast was a bit sparse.

The establishment is very nice, well‑arranged, and decorated; the host lacks friendliness, is absolutely not suited for this job, and is not welcoming at all.
