It was comfortable and in a great spot, close to everything. We liked everything.

The location was very good, the bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The luggage stairs were a bit awkward.

The location was central. The room was far from what the photos showed; there was barely enough space for the bed, the bathroom was tiny, everything was packed to the millimetre, and a bad odor lingered. When I pointed out that the room was nothing like the pictures, I was told I could leave without paying a penalty. An experience to forget.

The spot was right next to Florence’s main monuments – that’s all. I couldn’t sleep before 2:30 am because the bars below the room were closed, and the soundproofing was poor. No housekeeping took place, towels were only changed every three days, and a kettle for tea or coffee would have been nice. There was no sign at the entrance on the street.
