“A Refined Experience”

It’s hard to believe this Domaine sits right next to an old factory in the Veuze neighbourhood; the property is enchanting. The host was very responsive to my questions and friendly when we arrived. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, so we stayed in the “round room” that had both a shower and a bathtub—what a treat! Breakfast offered plenty of fresh produce and delicious foods, and the hosts were generous. We’ll gladly return. The only downside wasn’t the hosts’ fault: mosquitoes were also partying, probably because of the nearby pond. Everything else was great.

The estate is very beautiful, with lovely facilities and the charm of the old building (parquet, mouldings, etc.). We were very well welcomed, the bedding was high quality, and the breakfast was excellent. The only drawback, which fits the old‑building character, is that it isn’t very well sound‑isolated. Nothing else to mention.

“Jammer het kan geweldig zijn”

The location is nice for a layover. The photos look great, but everything was so messy—curtains were torn, the blinds were loose, and the hooks on the wall were detached, etc. A few hours before arrival they tried to cancel because of a wedding, which was strange and odd, even though we had booked two weeks earlier. The hostess was stressed and we were left alone in the building.

“Somptueux”

The estate is sumptuous, very clean, has a lovely little pool, animals, an exceptional park, and the owners are present and very kind. The room is spacious, sunny, and the bathroom is beautiful—perfect. Nothing else.
