Best Western Windsor Inn

The room was clean, the breakfast area was large and well kept, the yogurt machine was a fun novelty, and there were EV charging stations; however, the coffee was undrinkable, the hot oatmeal was bland and watery, the breakfast choices were limited, the pancake machine was entertaining but produced terrible pancakes, and we were woken at 7 am by a loud machine and workers chatting loudly in the room below, with no explanation during the supposed quiet hours.

The shower barely reached a warm temperature, and we had to walk a few minutes outside to get hot water for tea.

“Adequate. Nice staff.”

Even though we told the hotel we didn't need housekeeping, they still came and that turned out to be a good thing because the first morning we realized we hadn't been given enough coffee or other amenities like shampoo; the housekeeping that day fixed that. We later found out we were only offered a single coffee service for two people, and the signboard said breakfast would include omelets, but none were offered; overall the breakfast selection was very limited.

“It was terrific. Exceeded our expectation!”

The breakfast was excellent, especially the yogurt stand; a few more healthy add‑ins such as low‑sugar cereals would have been nice.

“It was just OK, not great.”

The setting was nice, but the room’s lighting was terrible and the shower faucet kept leaking.
