I knew Axel was going to be nice before I arrived as I've stayed with them before in other locations but this Mykonos hotel exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived I was greeted and made to feel at home - in a genuine way too! My room had been prepared and lit with a welcome bottle of wine which was a lovely touch! Throughout my stay I felt more and more at home. The team were fantastic from Maria & reception, to the cleaning team (the lovely lady would make a second trip around 6pm to make sure you were happy with the job she had done and gave me a mint - every single day!) and the bar staff who were very inclusive and in no way snobby (which can be the case in bars!). Overall there was a real sense of community here and they've got something special! I had actually planned more days out and excisions but because of how nice the hotel was, I changed my plans to spend more time there. Maria also arranged for a late check-out for me which meant the world to me as my flight was very late in the day. I would 100% return here!. My main issue with Mykonos as a whole is the taxi transfers being a complete rip off! It's a 9min drive from the airport to Mykonos Town (even less from the airport to Axel) and they charge between 25-30 Euro, which I thought was crazy! Axel offered a private transfer which was 40 Euro. I felt if guests had booked for a week or more, maybe a complimentary free transfer? The 9min drive would be nothing, but everything to guests. I would have valued this more than the complimentary wine

“Real sense of community”

I booked this last minute after my flight was cancelled. The staff were very sympathetic and welcoming when I arrived, and there was a much‑needed complimentary bottle of wine waiting for me when I was escorted to my room. My flight was late the next day, too, and Maria at reception arranged a late check‑out for me, which was amazing! I thought the private transfer to the airport was expensive and overpriced; it’s less than a 10‑minute drive.

The location was great a short walk to old town Mykonos. The accommodations were excellent . The entire staff was amazing from the front desk to the bar tenders , waiters and housekeeping staff 10. /10. Would change anything

“Bardzo udany pobyt — kameralna atmosfera, swoboda, świetny personel i ogólnie bardzo przyjemne miejsce do wypoczynku”

Szczególnie podobała nam się kameralność obiektu oraz swobodna, przyjemna atmosfera. Dzięki temu pobyt był bardzo komfortowy i pozwalał czuć się naprawdę na luzie, bez poczucia tłoku czy nadmiernej formalności . Na szczególne wyróżnienie zasługuje Dora i Costadina . We would like to sincerely thank Dora and Costadina for their wonderful care and attention. Both ladies were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. Our room, 213, was always cleaned to the highest standard, with great attention to detail. Their warm smiles and positive attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. They truly deserve recognition and appreciation for their excellent work. Thank you so much Marek i Mateusz ❤️. Jedynym minusem podczas pobytu była dość chłodna woda w basenie — zarówno w basenie głównym, jak i w basenie przy pokoju. Liczyliśmy na nieco wyższą temperaturę wody, która pozwalałaby w pełni cieszyć się kąpielą i relaksem
