Located in the heart of Bayreuth, Hotel Rheingold offers comfortable accommodations 300 metres from the Marktplatz Square and 1 km from Bayreuth Train Station. Classic-style rooms feature a flat-screen TV, en suite bathroom, and a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The hotel offers free WiFi, a breakfast buffet, and a restaurant serving German and international cuisine, with private parking available on site.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was quite expensive, so we didn't use that service. There were almost no extras in the rooms, like a mini fridge.

The place was clean, and there was a fitness room and a sauna. Unfortunately, there was no way to refuel the car at an E station.

It’s centrally located, the breakfast buffet was tasty, and the parking garage entrance goes straight into the hotel.

The breakfast was very good, and they had an excellent selection of soft cheeses. The final price turned out to be much higher than the estimate. Besides breakfast, they also charge extra for coffee, and they filter it. The coffee for two people costs almost 12 EUR! I’ve never seen that elsewhere. With the parking, breakfast, and coffee charges, the price jumped from the initial 123 EUR per night to 180. It isn’t worth it.
