The bathtub view was beautiful, the host was willing to handle things, and the room was pretty and atmospheric. Climbing to the fourth floor without an elevator was tough with over twenty kilos of luggage. The staircase to the bathtub was narrow and exposed, and the hot water was insufficient.

The staff were very helpful, and the living area looked quite tidy. However, the room I had booked was no longer available, and the host contacted us directly, offering only the option to pay extra for a more expensive room. The shower was right next to the toilet, something not obvious from the photos. The door lock was at the bottom of the floor, so you always have to get down to the floor to lock or unlock it.

Great location. Easy self check‑in. I was upgraded for free to a room with an amazing bathtub, which was truly fantastic. The balcony was cute, and it’s close to a great food street too!

It’s hard to give a verdict because we ended up with a different room at a different location. Our originally booked room had defects, so we were offered an alternative, which she handled very neatly and kept us informed at all times. As compensation, we were also offered a transfer from Hanoi airport. All done nicely! The location was also good. Looking back, it was very expensive for what we got/was booked. It was our first stay, so we didn’t really have a good sense of price‑quality ratios in Vietnam. For that money we could have stayed in a super luxury place, and that was definitely not the case. It offered everything we needed, but it was also good for half the price.
