“Amazing Owners and Location!”

The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, going out of their way to make us feel comfortable and very flexible with our requests, plus they produce excellent white wine and olive oil that we highly recommend. The location is great and the owner happily shares local tips and recommendations, enhancing the experience. However, there is only one air conditioner in the corridor outside the bedrooms, so during hot weather we had to leave bedroom doors open for cooling; fans in the rooms would have helped. Also, the cookware is dirty and needs replacement.

“Fijn appartement op een mooie locatie met een schitterend uitzicht.”

Marcello and his wife welcomed us warmly. At check‑in Marcello gave us a bottle of white wine made from grapes grown only in his own vineyard, and his wife provided fresh eggs. The site is beautiful and well maintained with a nice pool, air‑conditioning and Wi‑Fi work fine in the apartment, which has comfortable beds and looks tidy. There is a large barbecue available. Marcello also runs a wine shop where good wine can be bought at reasonable prices. From our covered terrace with garden furniture and two lounge chairs we enjoy a stunning view of the Tuscan hills, olive trees and vineyards, and in the distance we can see San Gimignano—an ideal spot to visit nearby attractions. Marcello prepared a map for each guest listing worthwhile places and restaurants, and he gives tips on the best times to go. About 15 minutes’ drive away is a large COOP supermarket in PoggiBonsi. Marcello thanks us for everything and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

“Prachtige locatie, fijn appartement , fantastische gastheer”

We stayed in apartment Tulipano, our first agriturismo instead of a campsite, and it was very pleasant. The spacious apartment has a terrace with a canopy and a garden, plus a lovely pool with a great view over the valley and San Gimignano in the distance. The host, Marcello (78 years old), is very driven, friendly and helpful. The only downside was mosquitoes in the late afternoon and evening; bring or buy something to repel them.
