Good price‑quality ratio, not in the city center but close to a beautiful waterfront, and the staff were very friendly. They do charge a daily parking fee.

The hotel sits in a great spot and is superbly connected to public transport, making it easy to reach many sights and day trips. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast supplied everything needed for a good start to the day. However, we were unhappy with the service. We had specifically booked a room with two separate beds, and this was confirmed again at check‑in. When we entered the room, we found only one shared bed. We reported this immediately at reception, who assured us it would be handled. Nothing was done during our four‑night stay and we received no further updates. Additionally, we were woken in the middle of the night by an unwanted alarm on the room telephone; the phone kept ringing even though we had never set an alarm. This was especially annoying because it severely disrupted our sleep.

Everything was impeccable, as always at this hotel. I would recommend it with my eyes closed. The only downside is the poor soundproofing of the rooms; you can hear the tramway passing under the windows with its safety signal, and the Sainte‑Hélène church rings its twelve bells at midnight, which is not bad for those who enjoy the sound of bells.

The location was spot on, the hotel itself was great, and breakfast was fantastic with wonderful staff who were always happy to help. Every member of the team was excellent. Nothing could have been better.
