The hotel is adequate, offers all the basics, and the pool was good and stayed open late, which we appreciated. The staff were friendly.

The jungle trek they set up was fantastic, and our guide Robert was simply unbeatable. The hotel took care of everything, even delivering a few items we’d forgotten back home. That night we slept soundly and the staff were constantly on hand, making us feel well looked after.

The spot is tucked away and the breakfast was solid, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the windows face the hallway so every little sound carried in, and there was a lingering cleaning‑chemical smell in the room. On top of that, the staff seemed a bit bewildered and hard to get clear answers from.
