The atmosphere is very pleasant, the building historic, and the interior details are also historic. The beds are comfortable. The showers and toilets are shared, but they’re clean and comfortable with lockable doors. The staff were responsive and quickly resolved the issue of a missing extra bed. I know that the rooms were used during a high‑demand period, yet the price‑to‑value ratio seemed a bit off, because it’s only a room with shared facilities and a shower.

“Lieliski!”

The manor is located in the city center, surrounded by a beautiful park. It’s a fantastic spot for events, birthday parties, and weddings. We stayed in five rooms over five nights. Each room has its own historic charm. The manor runs a family pizzeria and offers the chance to buy Italian artisan pottery. Excellent! Highly recommended!

The barista at the café was very friendly. I arrived at Ruka Manor only because I had a gift card. When booking the room I didn’t even think about the fact that the shower and toilet are in the corridor, because the price matched a room with a bathroom. The staff’s reply that the price is appropriate for the manor’s status was not convincing, since the manor’s status doesn’t mean discomfort for a higher price. I was also surprised that the gift card could only be used at the café, even though no such restriction was mentioned. In the end I had to buy items at restaurant prices to spend the gift card, so I paid 70 € to the manor and chose another place for the same price in a comfortable room.
