JUFA Hotel Nördlingen

The location right behind the city wall was great and surprisingly quiet, the breakfast was very good with a wide selection, but milk coffee and cappuccino were only available at an extra charge; I also found it extremely unfair that the hotel advertises “dogs welcome” yet forbids dogs from the dining rooms at breakfast and dinner, a rule that should have been clear before booking rather than at check‑in. My dog has epilepsy and can’t be left alone in the room, so the separate room for dog owners at breakfast was a welcome solution that made the stay end on a positive note.

Nothing positive to note; the pillows and duvets smelled bad, the sheets weren’t fresh, the room was uncomfortable and cold, and the staff were not very friendly.

The value for money is good, the location is convenient, and the breakfast is solid, but the bed was too soft for my taste, which is a matter of personal preference.

The room was very beautiful, spacious enough for three (up to four) adults, the location was very quiet and perfect for city visits, and the breakfast was good, but the toilet flush in the room was noisy.

The location and breakfast were fine, and we could park the car for €3 a day, which was perfect; the beds were clean and there were plenty of fresh towels, the shower was great, but the toilet ran poorly, the beds were too low, the room was plain, the balcony looked out onto industry and concrete, there was no minibar but a fridge was available, which was fine but without wine or beer so no alcohol, and the door was covered in fingerprints while the windows and hallway door could use a cleaning.
