Grand Hotel

The reception was super friendly thanks to the host. The room is very tastefully furnished. The hotel’s own pizzeria offers great quality food. Free parking is available on the premises. It’s ideal for a stopover or a short holiday. No complaints.

Everything was newly renovated, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast and restaurant were good, there were enough parking spaces, everything was perfect.

“Für eine Nacht, auf der Durchreise zum Übernachten ist es OK.”

The hotel sits right on a heavily trafficked street and only opens at 18:00, even though the posted hours say it should be open from 14:00; staff speak and understand German only partially; the breakfast is oddly missing pork products, so no bacon is offered.

“Für eine Nacht ok …”

Two bedrooms were just enough for two people, and we ate at the Grand Hotel where the pizza and pasta were good; the room faced the street and was noisy.

“trotz des guten Zimmers und des guten Frühstücks fällt uns eine Weiterempfehlung schwer.”

All the fruit, vegetable sides, and sausage and cheese spreads were freshly prepared, but the eggs were only hard‑boiled. The hotel has no elevator, so floor rooms aren’t suitable for people with disabilities; staff were only partially friendly and helpful. The “Grand” hotel is basically a restaurant with lodging, and at check‑in we felt like a nuisance. Breakfast only included filtered coffee. Even for hotel guests, the restaurant breaks are strictly observed, there’s no minibar, and requests for unperfumed laundry weren’t met. The room was very noisy because of the street proximity.
