A wonderful place to relax. The cottages have fireplaces and private grill areas; some also have shared decks. The canoes and fire pit are available for use at any time. Kim is super friendly, open‑minded, and lovingly takes care of guests and cottages. We’ll definitely return!

The spot is right in the middle of nature, but the shower pressure was weak, there was no hair dryer, and the blankets felt too thin for the season.

The cottage was clean, well kept, and spacious, though a bit dated; the lake gear was solid, but the water trampoline was taken down on Sunday morning without notice, so the kids missed it during their afternoon swim, and the unicorn float was also removed, leaving the grandkids disappointed. The night skies over Hunstville were stunning, with the Milky Way, stars, planets, and shooting stars visible, and there were no mosquitoes or black flies at that time of year. They supplied plenty of good firewood and the campfire setup was great, which we really enjoyed. Thanks! On the downside, only one car can park per cottage, even the 3‑bedroom one; Wi‑Fi was terrible, making TV impossible, but that’s expected in cottage country. You’ll need to bring your own fishing rods, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and beach towels.
