The place is great for everything, with a spacious upstairs room that was very comfortable. The hosts were a lovely couple with adorable dogs, and I enjoyed learning about the history of the place. It was really great for us.

We had a continental breakfast that was very filling, and we enjoyed the basket of goodies while eating in our room. The bedroom was very spacious, well equipped, and comfortable. The ensuite was across the hallway, which was fine, and the bathroom was well equipped. Nothing else to note. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, and we would stay here again.

From the start the communication was fantastic with clear instructions, and the hosts were incredibly friendly. The location was beautiful, and it was lovely to see free‑roaming chickens. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. The breakfast basket in the morning was extremely generous, and they can cater to dietary needs, which was very positive. I felt very safe as a lone visitor and will definitely return. The only suggestion is to add a microwave, since local food is quite a distance.
