Located on a quiet, slightly elevated edge of Saanen, the 2014-built Saanen Gstaad Youth Hostel offers healthy local cuisine and complimentary Wi‑Fi. Guests choose private or shared bathrooms, or dormitory beds with corridor facilities. Families enjoy a playground, playroom, ping‑pong and foosball tables. Weekly ski passes, free station parking, and on‑site surcharge parking complete the offering.

The vegetarian dinner buffet turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and overall the price matched the quality offered. The only downside was that dorm rooms lack curtains; adding them would improve privacy.
