The location and breakfast are great – we had an egg omelette and yogurt … they gave us two rooms for four people even though we paid for only one. After breakfast we headed straight to the hike with amazing cliffs.

The reception was very friendly, the breakfast excellent, and the value for money was great for a one‑night stop. The constant noise all night was a problem; we stayed on a Saturday evening during a wedding, so the klaxons and the many dogs kept barking, ruining the night. The staff were not at fault.

The staff were kind and the price was good. The noise all night, the central city location, late parties, dog fights, and a wedding at 5 am made it necessary to bring earplugs – a confirmed routard and hard‑of‑hearing person would need them. Still, it was pretty nice overall.

Excellent breakfast and a la carte dinner, very friendly staff, central location, and extremely affordable. The rooms are modest but clean. Overall a very positive surprise! Good for one or two nights if you’re still undecided about a carpet. Those who want mid‑European comfort are out of place; those happy with a good bed, good food, friendly staff, and unbeatable price‑performance will find nothing better in Tazenakht.
