The price was reasonable and I got a good inn‑like feel. The inn’s bath could have been more extensive, the walls were thin so I could hear the neighbor’s noise, and the locker for valuables in the bath was difficult to use.

The staff were friendly and attentive, the food and baths were fantastic, and the facilities were clean, but the room felt cramped and the location was poor, leaving us without that travel‑away feeling.

The service quality was outstanding, the beds were comfortable, and the on-site restaurant served dinner and breakfast that was high quality and worth the price; the private onsen in the room was a treat. The icing on the cake was the staff’s friendliness, helpfulness, and effort to accommodate us despite the language barrier. Honestly, it was flawless. I also want to recommend the masseur they assigned when we requested one—he was a highly skilled professional, but beware, it’s not the gentle, relaxing massages Europeans are used to! 😂 It was very vigorous, and we only appreciated the benefits after it finished, akin to an osteopathic session. He even took care of my husband, who had a knee injury. Thanks again to him and to the staff for their efficiency!

The staff were helpful, yet the men’s indoor bath lacked a handrail, making me hesitant to use it, and although the outdoor bath does have a rail, its design isn’t very user‑friendly – a problem for me since I was nursing an ankle injury.
