The spot was great, the place fit all my guests and had every cooking utensil I needed, yet the sheets on some beds were stained, a whole basket of towels had stains, a few toilets weren’t fully cleaned at the base, the house lacked proper heating so it was freezing… we had to block the door to get into the kitchen because it was so cold. One downstairs bedroom’s vent was closed, so no heat circulated; I had to use a ladder to open it so the room warmed up. I fell ill when I left on Sunday because the property had no good heating source. I understand New Orleans can be frigid, but if the house can’t heat in cold weather, the owners shouldn’t have rented it to me.

The building is gorgeous, there are plenty of bathrooms and showers, and the bed was very comfy, but road noise and loud party‑goers made it hard to sleep.
