Everything was fine. The location was great. I used a single room and it was really okay. The kitchen downstairs was well equipped. The only thing that was a bit missing was a small trash bin in the room.

It was hard to stay objective because the person who greeted me treated me like a criminal or someone she didn’t want there. I rang the bell for a long time before anyone opened. When the door opened, the woman who greeted me had a very hostile attitude, acting as if she was scared of me, speaking with aggressive tones and tense body language. I tried to show her I was friendly by smiling and introducing myself, but she refused to shake my hand, something I’ve never experienced at any accommodation worldwide. It made me feel very uncomfortable. She kept hiding behind a door as if she feared me or expected me to attack her, giving me instructions in aggressive tones about where to get the keys, as if speaking to a misbehaving dog. I knew I couldn’t stay there after such treatment. It felt extremely uncomfortable, unsafe, unfair, and discriminatory. I went into the room to calm my head and call friends to explain this extraordinary behavior, then arranged to stay elsewhere. After I went down, returned the keys, thanked her, and left. I stayed in the accommodation for less than 15 minutes. I didn’t ask for money or anything. It felt like an extreme form of xenophobia to me, but maybe the lady has a better explanation for her horrible behavior. Personally, I would never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone, especially if they are coloured. I love Poland and always boast to friends how amazing and accommodating the Polish people are, but this experience left me very, very confused.

Great location just minutes from Brzeźno parking, helpful hosts, very clean rooms, and a super stay with Janusz.
