The room was large with a private bathroom, hot water, WiFi, and convenient Uber and Uber Eats options. On the downside, the housekeeping lady would delay your cooking because she had to finish her own meal in the kitchen; she lives on site, and for a full week there were no heaters, so my toes were cold at night. Electricity went out for three days while the store next door, a hospital across the street, and nearby apartments kept power—this was the only place on the block without electricity. I had to stand inside the gate while waiting for Uber to avoid people staring at my phone or purse.
