Boutique Hotel des Arts, Amsterdam, is situated in the heart of the city, near the Kalverstraat shopping area and within 500 meters of the Dam Square, Royal Palace, and Flower Market. Renovated rooms in 2023 feature old-Dutch touches and private bathrooms, with some offering Amstel river views. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, bar with cocktails and snacks, and tram and metro access to Central Station and popular sites.

The breakfast was the best so far, the place is close to the main train station (15 minutes walk), it’s clean, and the staff are friendly, but there are no stairs, which matters if you have heavy luggage.

The room is huge, with a nice view and a big bed, but the breakfast room is dark and in the basement.

The boutique hotel was stunningly decorated, the room was spacious and comfortable, the beds were cozy, and there was a coffee maker in the room; fruit and a lemonade dispenser were available as a courtesy. The only thing that bothered me was that there is only one staircase to reach the upper floors.
