The hotel’s seclusion was a highlight, but the furnishings felt a bit dated.

The food, sauna, and pool were fantastic, and the location was perfect for unwinding. The holiday was amazing. However, the evening staff didn’t come around the bar or on the sofas to ask if you wanted drinks; you had to ask yourself. On Sunday night I got a drink, but I had to finish it immediately because they closed at 10 pm, which felt rude, so I went back to my room.

A lovely spot for a relaxed weekend; we especially enjoyed the pool and sauna area. Breakfast was great, and the dining room offered a wonderful view of the scenery. There’s plenty to explore nearby. It would be nice to have coffee and tea in the room.
