Azuu Boutique Hotel

A pleasant, small hotel. We had balcony rooms in a building with a bar on the first floor, no night noise, cozy interior, within walking distance to Migros and restaurants, and a short walk to a beautiful promenade. During check‑in they gave us a WhatsApp number and sent info via messages—convenient. I think you can discuss any questions or issues over WhatsApp, but we didn’t need it. Breakfast was in a very nice dining room on the first floor, plenty of options, and we never felt hungry. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the building.

Breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, coffee, juice, Turkish tea, meats, and vegetables, and the receptionists were extremely helpful and spoke English. We spent a lot of time at the pool. The room was good, the mattresses were nice, and towels were always clean. The bathroom door in our room had mold, so we were moved to another room. If your room faces the street you’ll hear the mosque at 5 am; if it faces an internal yard it will be quiet. The music at the pool could be a bit louder.

“It’s good value”

The place was tidy and clean, but the street traffic and the mosque’s loudspeaker at 5am made it a bit noisy.

“Schönes sauberes Hotel mit ruhiger Lage”

The hotel is very good, the staff are helpful and can recommend many nice spots, and breakfast was also good; we even stayed twice. The first time was in Block A (has a lift), the second in Block B (no lift). The location is a bit far from the center, but we rented a car so that wasn’t a problem; without a car it would be difficult.

The hotel sits in the beloved Lara district, which is perfect for a transit stop with cafés, restaurants, a mall, the waterfront and a playground nearby. It’s spread over three buildings and it wasn’t clear which one offered the better rooms – we ended up in the far‑away block. I complained to the staff about the check‑in mess and they offered an airport transfer, which they actually arranged – thanks for that. The check‑in happened about 2.5 hours later than the promised time, leaving us with kids waiting, which was very unpleasant. On top of that the room wasn’t very clean; the floors were sticky as if they hadn’t been mopped at all. For €60 a night I expected more, and paying €200 for two rooms for a family felt weak. Rooms 3002 and 3003 were extremely noisy because the front door slammed shut right next to them. The pool didn’t even make me want to take a dip.
