The location is great and the staff are friendly.

The motel‑style lodging had a dated décor, but that was expected; we snagged a king ocean view room at the last minute, even though it’s only a 3‑star place with decent reviews. The room was spacious, and the spa bath was perfect for easing the aches from driving. The balcony offered a great view of the water, and we even had complimentary laundry, which was a huge help. I’m genuinely pleased with the stay at Waterloo and would book again.

We had our own central spot with an easy walking path and excellent room views, but the bed was a double instead of a Queen, which was a bit disappointing.
