The setting feels like a paradise – the villa nomad is a sanctuary of calm amid Marrakech’s constant noise, instantly immersing you in a peaceful atmosphere. The location, however, is a maze of alleys; finding it isn’t easy, and taxis in the area charge steep fares and often refuse to use the meter for tourists.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The riad itself was beautiful and quiet, and we stayed in a large suite with all the comforts. A very romantic dinner was served to us. The pool isn’t huge but fits the riad’s needs. Overall, the riad is recommended. The location is in a popular district where taxis aren’t readily available; the first time you arrive you might wonder where you’re supposed to get off. Once you open the door, everything is fine. The best option is to let the riad pick you up; the airport transfer was perfect.
