Everything was very pleasing, from the tasteful room décor to the lovingly prepared breakfast; the only issue was bringing heavy motorcycle luggage into the pedestrian zone, but a borrowed hand‑cart from the nice Vinothek near the parking solved that, so overall it was wonderful and Merano remains charming as always.

Breakfast was excellent, all items were fresh and plentiful, and the service was courteous; the sole complaint was the sparrows at the morning meal.
