Spacious rooms have flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and earthy tones. The hotel serves international cuisine and has a 24-hour convenience store and Mexican restaurant, Muchachas.

The only plus is the location – from the window you can see part of Burj Khalifa and there’s a canal with a nice view and fountain nearby. The rooms feel worn out and need renovation; I understand it’s a three‑star hotel, but there was an unpleasant odor in the room, the furniture was scratched, the hallway carpet was old and faded. The room with taxes came to $89, and the impression was not the best.

Friendly staff, daily housekeeping, good breakfast, convenient spot not far from the metro. I booked a breakfast‑and‑dinner option on the app, but on arrival they told us our reservation only included breakfast, even though the app listed half‑board; overall it was fine.
