The breakfast was very hearty and always ready when we woke up; watch out for large flies that can get into the room and be warned that there are dogs—having a separate entrance solved the problem perfectly.

A cozy room on the upper floor of a charming timber‑framed house with a pastoral view of the garden and birdsong, and a warm welcome with a hearty breakfast. Near the large La Jemaye pond and the restaurant Le Bistrot, both worth recommending. Beware of the low beam, the heat in summer due to poor ventilation, and the steep stairs, plus the concrete private terrace that offers no shade or greenery.

The people were very welcoming, the room was simple but comfortable, the large bathroom was adequate, the exterior pleasant, and the breakfast was great – I would recommend it.
