“We moved to another hotel.”
We didn’t end up staying. The place smelled bad and we only received a 50 % refund even though we were told to book at reception.

The location was ideal, especially because it was close to the hospital we were visiting. There were plenty of shops within walking distance, plus Nana train station made getting around very convenient. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the staff were excellent and very welcoming. Reception service was fine, though not quite at the same level as the rest of the staff. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay and would be happy to return. However, a few things didn’t quite meet my expectations: 1. The furniture and overall feel of the room seemed somewhat dated and could benefit from an update, especially the bathroom tubs. 2. The Wi‑Fi connection was weak and inconsistent during our stay. 3. I had originally booked a room with twin beds and later asked if it was possible to change to a king‑size bed; I was told the hotel was fully booked, even though it appeared to be quite full during our stay. A little more flexibility here would have been appreciated. 4. Having all guests on the same floor may be convenient from an operational perspective, but spreading guests across different floors when possible might provide a quieter and more comfortable experience. Overall, these are relatively minor points, but addressing them would make the stay even more pleasant for guests.

The hotel is a few steps from the American hospital. There’s a 7/11, a grocery store on Al‑Arab Street, a cashier named Abu Dawood, a Yemeni romance restaurant, and internet stick shops nearby. The hotel’s own restaurant serves a legendary Tom soup that I ordered. The lobby is very dead; nobody sits there unless it needs a redesign and more appeal. Breakfast is limited and of modest quality. The room insulation is very poor—you can hear everything happening in the neighboring room—hahaha.

The reception and all the staff are good. Breakfast is decent but the service is good. The reception desk was wonderful, especially the young man Jack and his manager, whose name I think is Tota. Overall, the stay was quiet and good.

I liked how close the hotel is to all the lively areas, and there were no issues at all.
