The price was spot‑on for what you get – clean rooms, decent Wi‑Fi and staff that actually smile. Nothing fancy, but you don’t feel ripped off. If you’re looking for basic comfort without the premium tag, this is a solid pick.

We ended up at this place because my husband’s race stopped nearby, and it turned out the lodge was one of the sponsors – talk about a lucky coincidence! The chalet is modest but cozy, stocked with dishes, linens, towels and a bunch of board games that forced us to ditch the phones for a day. The kids loved the trail that led to a suspension bridge over the river, and we even hiked the opposite side that drops right onto the water; the scenery is perfect for a family getaway.

The spot felt really nice – quiet, clean and comfortable enough to relax after a long day. I liked the simple layout and the friendly vibe of the staff. All in all, a pleasant place to stay.

Everything about the stay was great, but the breakfast deserves a special shout‑out – the spread was unbelievably good, with fresh pastries, fruit and strong coffee that kept me going. The room was clean and the staff attentive, making the whole experience feel seamless.

The place is beautiful, the cleaning staff keep everything spotless and the atmosphere is perfect for unplugging from the daily grind. It’s an excellent spot if you want to disconnect for a bit, and I’ll definitely be back.
