“Unpleasant stay my own opinion. The breakfast guy was very nice though”

I recently stayed in a room that was described as a studio, but it was actually extremely small and had a thin mattress that caused me back pain. The pillows were old and needed to be replaced, and the staircase was so narrow that it was difficult for two people to climb up and down together. Overall, I was not impressed with my stay and wouldn't book again.

“You get what you pay for -cheap”

Although the place was clean, I had a frustrating experience when the batteries in the front door lock died, and the hosts were unreachable at the time. This made it difficult for me to access my room.

The location of the accommodation was great, but I felt that it wasn't suitable for travelers with large luggage. Having stayed in small Japanese rooms before, I found a capsule hotel to be more practical since I could at least open my suitcase in the hallway. However, the shared common area was only accessible between 10 and 12 am, which was inconvenient.

I appreciated the cleanliness and quiet atmosphere of the place, but I was disappointed by the lack of staff presence during my stay. It seemed like there was always someone missing, which made it difficult for me to get assistance when I needed it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the ryokan's condition and the simplicity of the check-in process. However, there were a few issues that I had to deal with, including a shared shower that was used by all guests and a narrow stairway that made it hard to move luggage. Despite these issues, the price and location made up for them.
