The staff were friendly and cleaned every day, which I appreciated! I also got a room upgrade, so I could stay comfortably. I had expected a high‑floor view of the square, but was given a first‑floor room; I was a bit disappointed, though the protest on the square at that time made the lower view somewhat more interesting… haha. No other complaints! (The protest at the square during my trip was a bit of a let‑down, unrelated to the hotel.)

Perfect spot for a sightseeing trip in Barcelona. Nice rooms overlooking the square, good breakfast, and the staff were welcoming.

The location is very central, the staff are very attentive, and it’s an easy hotel to stay at. The price could have been a bit lower.
