The location is in the village center. The staff are welcoming. The room is comfortable. The large closed garage is a plus.

“Bloedhete kamer en personeel met weinig empathie”

The hotel was close to where we needed to be, and the breakfast was okay. On arrival, only two rooms were available in the whole hotel; the restaurant was closed for vacation. While the hotel was almost empty, we got a room just under the roof. That was odd because it had been very hot and the room was scorching. There was no air‑conditioning, so we tried to cool it with the room fan and another fan we borrowed. Still, it stayed very hot all night. Because we had to sleep with the window open, traffic noise was loud. The bathroom was a tiny cabin entirely inside the room; very small. No shampoo was provided. We booked two nights, but due to these problems we decided to head back to the Netherlands the next morning. The hotel lady showed no empathy and insisted we pay for both nights. The card machine didn’t work, so after a lot of hassle we paid by bank transfer. We will never stay here again.

The food was great and the staff were friendly.

The owners were extremely kind and accommodating, even fulfilling very unusual requests, but the bathroom felt too cramped.

We really enjoyed our stay; the dinner was excellent, and overall we were very satisfied.
