Hotel Ibis Coimbra Centro is situated 200 meters from Coimbra's historical town centre, overlooking the Mondego River. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with TVs, private bathrooms, and free WiFi. A daily buffet breakfast includes fresh juices, seasonal fruit, and traditional sweets. The 24-hour bar serves light snacks, warm drinks, and local wines. Nearby attractions include the Santa Clara Convent, Roman Ruins of Conimbriga, and the Botanical Garden.

The stay went smoothly! On check‑in day we realized we had made a mistake with the reservation dates, but both the hotel and Booking were very understanding and helpful. I was very grateful for their willingness and the friendly way they resolved the issue.

Welcoming staff, quiet room, comfortable bed, great breakfast. Ibis is a wonderful hotel company. Have stayed every Camino at some point and when just traveling thru. Can depend on their quality!

The rooms feel modern and spacious, and there’s an inexpensive parking lot nearby that’s within walking distance of most places. The shower was good and roomy, but there were no USB ports or plugs on either side of the bed; they only had one extension which wasn’t enough. The AC wasn’t powerful enough for the heat, and the toilet seemed poorly ventilated.
