The interior is awesome for a family; my daughter loved the log‑cabin style and the staircase to the top beds. The place is close to the supermarket, shops, and Echoland. I wish there were basic cooking spices—there wasn’t even salt or pepper.

We stayed in a very cute and spacious cottage for Japan, and the shower had great pressure. The kitchen was fully equipped, with a big fridge and dishwasher, and the smart TV let us watch English channels at night. Our family of four, plus luggage, fit comfortably, and the heater worked well. Parking was right in front of the cabin and walking into Echoland’s main street was easy. The washing machine was handy. The bathroom stayed cold and we couldn’t figure out how to heat it, but the rest of the cottage warmed up nicely. The separate bedroom had a smaller bed (larger than a single but smaller than a double), while the loft upstairs had a larger bed for two people and a single bed; a larger bed in the separate bedroom would have been better. A lounge in the main living area would have been nice after long days on the mountain, but we only had a dining table and chairs. There is a lounge upstairs in the loft, but it just faces a wall, so we missed a lounge in front of the TV.

The place was lovely and warm, with a beautiful location and all the comforts of home. Nothing was missing; it was fantastic.

The log cabin had an open penthouse area and a patio, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine with an automatic drying cycle, two air‑conditioners, Western and Japanese bathrooms, and window screens to keep insects out. The manager answered questions even in the evening. During our stay we filled the trash container but couldn’t find more trash bags; it wasn’t a big issue, just a need for better management of bulky items.
