The spot was great – open space, trees, kangaroos, birds everywhere. The room looked nice but the bed was a nightmare, and the bathroom had no towel hooks or a place for a wash bag. Being on the top floor made hauling bags up without a lift a real hassle.

The location was solid, but the room was tiny and the beds were terrible – old springs poking out, especially the single bed. We stayed two nights just to get a decent sleep, but that didn’t happen. The shower head was too short for my tall husband, the air‑con smelled awful and had to be turned off, and the constant hum from the plantation room kept us up. The fridge was dirty, and we only got one key for three people, so someone had to stay up to let others in. Not worth the price.
