The concept works well: each room is essentially a small apartment up in the village, and the whole complex is charming and comfortable, letting you enjoy the beautiful village outside peak tourist hours. Room service is efficient, and the valet is very helpful, friendly, and efficient. The reception staff felt distant and cold.

The view was incredible. The breakfast was outrageously expensive and of low quality; the orange juice was not fresh, and the pastries weren’t fresh either.

It was clean and cozy. The hotel is oddly isolated, with rooms spread around the village. There’s no lobby, so you only get the view if you go to their restaurants.
