The host is a delight, explaining everything, giving references, and providing privacy. The small garden is very peaceful and nice for a drink or breakfast. Transport to the city center is close. The room lacks a table to leave items on, so you have to put them on the floor. It’s a B&B, but breakfast consists only of yogurt and coffee or tea with a few crackers, so keep that in mind.

From the moment we arrived, Arjan wowed us and kept doing so throughout our visit. His remarkable kindness was obvious right away—he’s incredibly polite, thoughtful, and attentive, always making sure guests feel at ease and truly welcomed. His warm personality and genuine care make the place feel more like a friend’s home than a rental. He speaks with kindness, respect, and sincerity, turning every conversation into a pleasant and meaningful exchange. The property itself is stunning—spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped for a relaxing stay. Every detail shows the care, passion, and love he’s poured into creating such a welcoming environment. And Arjan… we owe you an apology—we practically devoured all your cheese! But honestly, how could we resist when so many delicious treats were waiting? Everything was fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. Thank you for the wonderful tea you offered me so generously—it was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected your generosity and made me feel truly cared for. You made us feel completely at home. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality and for making our stay unforgettable. We arrived as guests, but we left feeling like friends. People like Arjan are the reason some places stay in your heart long after you leave. We can’t wait to come back.

“Very comfortable short (2 day) stay in the Europaplein/Rivierenbuurt neighborhood of Amsterdam.”

Breakfast was excellent, and our host Arjan was gracious and friendly, bringing fruit, croissants, and pretty much anything we asked for.

Good location, quiet neighborhood, and easy access by public transport. Nice décor. It feels more like a couch‑surfing setup than a B&B; you share the apartment with the owner. Nothing wrong with that, the host is very pleasant, but it’s not exactly what we expected.
