The mini guesthouse had four rooms, sat behind the Gina restaurant, and the reception was through a wall in a tourist kiosk. We checked in an hour early; the triple room was cramped if all guests arrived at once. The AC kept the temperature comfortable. Relax Bay beach was a 10‑minute walk away, good for swimming even at low tide, unlike Long Beach where the water was almost always murky. A 7‑11 was two minutes away, and there were two tables in the back courtyard where you could sit, eat, or smoke (apparently there were ashtrays). The two bathrooms were clean and had paper, but the water had a rusty smell, and I’d strongly advise against washing white clothes. Road noise, evening restaurant sounds, and especially live music from across the street kept me up; I slept with earplugs and synthetic bedding helped.

The room was decent, with a large bed, AC, and plenty of space. It was a five‑minute walk from the beach and very close to restaurants. The shower burst in the first hour, flooding the hallway after the water tank ran out about 20 minutes in. They fixed it quickly and there were no further issues.

The air‑conditioning worked, but the bed was awful, sloping so much that we had to wedge pillows between us. The so‑called kitchen was basically non‑existent: the fridge was frozen solid and the microwave was so rusted it couldn’t be used. Tap and shower water was yellow, leaving us dirtier than when we arrived. The room faced a busy commercial kitchen and the coveted window looked out onto the kitchen, so there was no natural light. It was right next to the restaurant and a busy road that stayed noisy until about 3 am, ruining sleep. The price was three times what it should have been. The room was not fit for purpose and should be removed from all booking sites. We left after one night, cutting our stay short and losing the rest of the payment.
